A new Apostolic Visitator for Medjugorje appointed

Sad residents of Bijaković and Medjugorje received the news that one of the first witnesses to the apparition of the Queen of Peace in Medjugorje and a great friend of the seers, Marinko Ivanković, fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 6:00 AM.
He was one of those who immediately believed in Our Lady apparitions not only because he knew the children but because Our Lady instilled in his heart a love of faith, of God. He loved Our Lady and now he has gone to Her hug.

Marinko was with a few other locals in those first days exposed to torture, pressure from the then police and communists authorities, constant arrests, interrogations, even attempts to be hired as an informant to the then police… Of course, to which he refused to consent. He boldly testified about Our Lady apparitions, enduring persecutions for their faith and faith in apparitions.
In addition to living the faith daily, his love for He testified to Our Lady most loudly and tirelessly in public shared his memories of the first days of the apparitions, recounting the circumstances of the time, the actions of the police, the reactions of the faithful, bravely holding the seer…

Marinko was a self-denying and humble servant in the vineyard The Lord's.
